shoot, it's been busy around here

I've done swab DNA testing on Hilde and Grace, tape it up and ready to mail it off.

oh look, Sam Champion is on Live with Kelly!  I love listening to that guy, what a hunk, too bad I'm old and happily married (LOL).

Pippa and Viktor tie again this morning, definitely puppies are due October 27th.

the "H" puppies went into the padded kennel in the garage, they prance and play, had a good time.  Momma La Roux went in there with them tidied up.  They are starting to use the potty park (amazing).  Took Momma out and made up some baby rice cereal with baby bananas & pumpkin added to it.  yum, I thought it tasted good.  They all lapped it up for their first feeding.  Hattie was a little hesitant, she'd rather play but did eat.  I left the gate open to the kennel while picking up the food, etc.  As always Hannah is the first one out, exploring and playing with her daddy Viktor.  cute.  Take them to the outside kennel (8'x8' I have two, one in the garage and one on the front patio).  Leaving the gate open as I transfer the puppies to the front kennel, there's Hannah finding her way out.  In about a week she will be around my feet.

they need a bath pretty soon, will also be their first, I can get pictures then.  For now, this morning's pictures of the cutest puppies in the world!

4 week old pictures

The comments are how we live with these precious little puppies.  The things I think of when I am with them or over hear them or watch them.  These are awesome little puppies.  I tell my husband all of the time ... I'm keeping them all!  He laughs, "we have six already!"  oh geez.. these are great pups.

Hannah

Not much of a handful Hannah today.  I put her collar on her and sat her down and started flashing at her.  She just watched me.  She's a sweet darling puppy.  So much like her momma.  She will go up to her sibling and get ahold of their ears, ggrrr she'll say.  Hannah is a dark red beautiful little girl.

Harkin

weighed 4# 1oz

He's a lazy day puppy.  Plays and romps of course, he's the big boy out of this litter of small caniche moyen puppies.  Little lighter than his very dark red siblings, he is the exact color of red like his momma.  He's a very nice, calm, lovable, sweet puppy.  He'll just roll his eyes at you.

Harley

weighed 3# 10.5oz

He's a tiny bit darker than Harkin.  They are both red in color like their momma La Roux.  Harley is a sweet and lovable, cool little dude.  He's adventurous like his momma.  Harley takes it all in, he's a smart guy and calm.  He plays a little, rough houses a little, sleeps a little, and up looking around.  He's far from intimidated about new things, just takes it in stride and checks it out.  Loves toys and sometimes making his siblings squeak.

Hattie

weighed 3# 6oz

Little Hattie is the darkest of them all.  She's a sweet lovable little girl.  She will speak up if she must, but not a bad quality by any means.  She's thinking about it.  Hattie is her daddy's clone like her brother Hunter.  She play jumps and prances around.  She's a darling sweet lovable little girl.  When they are outside in the morning and she doesn't like it, maybe the wind is too much or someone poo'd in her area, I can hear her kind of making a little fuss ... oh Hattie doesn't like something.  I pick her up and she cuddles.  Darling little puppy.

oh my gosh he's cute.  I say that to him all of the time, he looks up at me with those round eyes.  He's a cutie.  Hunter is almost as dark as the girls, he's the smallest of the litter.  Tiny-tiny bit lighter, he's darker than his daddy.  He very much like Hattie, play jumps and likes toys.  He's very cuddly, a handsome guy as you can see.  He's really a great little puppy.  aka daddy's clone.

morning routine is let everybody out of the house to run and play and yes, bark

put the puppies into the kennel and pool to get things cleaned up and start washing towels

momma stays in there with them for a while but puppies are getting braver

they are playing, chewing, playing with Fifi through the exercise pen, cute little guys all of them.

Puppies are in the kitchen for the second day.  First evening was a bit loud for them, today they've already adjusted and play with the poodles through the exercise pen bars.  Today is walking around on the slippery tile and stand on the potty park for the first time.

3.5 weeks old and they are rolling, biting, playing, peeing & poopin by themselves like old pros.  They are sooooooo..... darling.

Hattie

weighed 2# 14oz

She definitely doesn't like to go onto her back.  I'll have to intentionally do that more with her.  The boys seem to be more willing.  She's just like ... uh-huh.  Hattie has a very sweet curious personality.  She's the darkest girl and the smallest girl.  Her and Hunter are very much alike in many ways.  They are the smallest puppies, the darkest red puppies, they are both very people oriented and sweet.  Both Hattie and Hunter look right into the camera, more than any puppies I've ever seen do that.

sorry I don't know what happened to her pictures, I guess they were blurry, I didn't get very many of Hattie.  I will next time, I promise.

Hunter is an exceptional companion boy.  He's still the smallest puppy of the litter, I expect him to be a copy of his daddy's size, but he's darker red than Viktor.  He's a calm, sweet, lovely boy.  Hunter is much darker than his two brothers.  It's easy to see that he's a smart little guy too.

Hattie and Hunter are very much alike in many ways.  Hattie is the puppy that's looking into the camera.  Hunter if you remember was the puppy that looked right at the camera before his eyes were even open.  They are both very much people oriented and would make excellent therapy doggies.

I keep saying how much some of the puppy's are just like their dad.  Did you know this litter was born on Viktor's birthday?  It's easy to understand why they are so similar to their dad, especially the boys.
