here's a picture of La Roux resting leaning on Pippa

Note:  La Roux is a red, Pippa happens to be dark Irish Setter red, Viktor dark red ... La Roux is what her breeder called apricot/red, she really is red, she does look light next to Pippa and Viktor but she's actually not apricot ... just so you know ... Viktor's momma is apricot, La Roux' daddy is apricot

A little bit about us

Our first two poodles were an "apricot" kleinpudel and a small standard that was light red.  Mitzi, our apricot turned cream then a beautiful white, Penny was a light red and still is a beautiful light red at six years old.  I do know the difference and know that others and myself lean towards the poodle "colors" as well as the poodle overall.  We've had many cream puppies that sometimes look apricot for the first few weeks, but I do know the difference between cream ... apricot ... red ... and dark red.

When the puppies are graded at 6-7 weeks (before the personality testing) I decide what color to register the puppy with AKC to what color they are about six weeks old.
